Clasps and closures are always a challenge. I've tried a number of different ways of closing a bracelet with varying success. The key to a bracelet closure is the ability to manipulate it with one hand -- not always an easy task!

The bracelet to the left uses a sliding clasp. This one functions pretty well, but I have to be careful. There's always a delicate balance between creating a clasp that looks pleasing and ending up with something that's too bulky to be comfortable...
